A new appellation for the winery since 2016. The 2-hectare plot of Bonnode has an ideal eastern exposure for producing great Chardonnay, located at 250 meters’ altitude below the Roche de Vergisson. Clay/Limestone soil.
Hand-picked grapes. Wine fermented spontaneously using 100% indigenous yeast. Aged 17 months in old oak barrels and stainless steel. This wine is unfiltered and unfined.

The second vintage of this cuvée is the 2017 Saint-Véran La Bonnode, a pretty wine that opens in the glass with notes of crisp green pear, dried white flowers and freshly baked bread. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and muscular, with a reserved, tight-knit core and racy acid despite the sunny vintage.See detailed press review
