  • About this winery

Chiara Boschis has an incredible story. In a region where women winemakers are far from the norm she has built a collection of wines that is the envy of many. James Suckling, July 2017

This is very concentrated on the nose with so much blackberry, blueberry and ripe-strawberry character. Camomile-tea undertones. Full-bodied, very polished and sexy with racy tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Shows depth and texture. Better in 2021.

    Antonio Galloni, February 2017

Dark, ample and inviting, the 2013 Barolo Mosconi shows the pure power and breadth that is so typical of this site. Black cherry, plum, mocha, smoke, tobacco and licorice are all fused together. The Mosconi presents an especially virile, baritone expression of Nebbiolo, with less finesse than is found in the estate's other Barolos. That said, there is quite a bit of polish to play off the natural richness of Mosconi. The 2013 is an especially refined, layered wine for this site.
