Azelia is still something of a Barolo lover's secret. This South facing vineyard is a unique location for a Dolcetto, at more than 600 meters of altitude. Thanks to its deep roots, the 45 year old vines which Luigi has rigorously worked to maintain yield perfectly ripened grapes.
A single-vineyard Dolcetto from one of the region's best areas for this variety: Montelupo Albese. Rotofermenters are used during fermentation with indigenous yeasts at 27 °C. This wine is aged exclusively in steel to elevate its attractive freshness.
