91 Points

Limpid ruby-red. Displays pungent cherry pit, redcurrant, tobacco and floral scents that pick up a smoky nuance with air. Sappy and penetrating in the raspberry, succulent herb flavors and a hint of dark chocolate. In a savory, vaguely Old World style, showing sharp delineation and youthful tannic grip on a long, spice-accented finish. (26% new French oak).
