  • Tasting notes

An abundance of floral, cherry and spice aromas, layers of berry fruit and a creamy, silky texture. Highly approachable.

  • Viticultural notes

The grapes were sourced from all four of the winery's vineyards: Cornish Point, Calvert, MacMuir and The Elms.

  • Winemaking notes

The grapes were gently destemmed directly into open-top fermenters without pumping, retaining 20% as whole clusters. Traditional fermentation occurred using indigenous yeast with a moderately long maceration on skins in order to extract colour and tannin. The wine was aged for 13 months in 27% new French oak. Unfined and unfiltered.

    January 2020

Aromatic and expressive, with raspberry, cherry and fresh herb notes that are precise on a smooth and supple frame, offering details of matcha green tea, white pepper and forest floor. A hint of fresh nutmeg lingers on the long, expressive finish, where the tannins provide a slight grip.

    October 2019

Such attractive, mouthwatering aromas of spicy and brambly red cherries. This is in very seductive form in 2018 with supple, smooth and gently creamy, red-cherry and raspberry flavors, delivered in a silky, elegant and smooth mode. Fresh, lithe finish.
