Jean-Marc Brocard's origins lie in the Côte d'Or, a farmer's son from the village of Chaudenay-le-Château, not even the son of the vigneron. Following his father’s advice Jean-Marc studied Engineering leaving behind agricultural life. On the right bank of the river Serein, this premier cru produces a complex, flinty, steely style of wine. This vintage retains much of that texture while adding riper apricot and apple flavors. It is tight and still young.See detailed press review
