Anthill Farms is a project that you might say was born in the cellars of the great Williams Selyem winery in Sonoma. The three partners in Anthill Farms Anthony Filiberti, Dave Low, and Webster Marquez met while working at Williams Selyem in 2003. They have also honed their Pinot chops at Bergstrom in Oregon (Filiberti), Papapietro Perry Winery (Low) and C. Donatiello (Marquez). The 2015 Syrah Campbell Ranch Vineyard is dense, powerful and chewy, with a serious core of fruit and equally imposing tannins. Blue and purplish stone fruits, mint, licorice, lavender and violets give the wine its supple, inviting personality. The Campbell Ranch was done with 50% whole clusters.See detailed press review
